A Broadband Sob Story. Try Not to Laugh — or Get Mad
The leftist outfit with the Orwellian name "Free Press" put out the above video not as a parody, but as a piece of propaganda they think will win converts to their side — the side of government management of the Internet and "free" broadband for all (paid for by the U.S. taxpayer).
Oh, the horror of relying on Dial-Up because you can't adjust your family budget to pay around $50 a month (or less) for broadband. This poor woman is being used, and I almost feel bad for her. But I'm sorry, Miss. I'm not going to pay for your son to have broadband. He's your kid. That's your responsibility.
And note the official FCC logo in the background. Your tax dollars at work, propagandizing for more tax dollars.
